Circles, Butterflies and more spots

In a local op-shop last week I picked up a couple of beautiful pieces of pure white vintage cotton. The first print I did, the one above, I used a lovely Indian printing block I got from the local Trade Craft shop. The result was stunning I think, I am going to call this print circle daisy. The second print I did was using Peter's butterfly block and my favorite dots. Yet another stunning result.

Part Two of this weekends printing

Butterflies on a vintage pure wool blanket. Just what you need to snuggle up with on cold wintry nights and dream of summer butterflies. I love these vintage blankets they deserve a new lease of life.

Part One of this weekends printing

This weekend Peter managed to find time to finish off another couple of blocks. I love this paisley block, the centre of which is a fern. The fabric is a beautiful heavy organic cotton duck. You can buy it over here.

Surprise, Surprise More Dots

Just when you probably thought that there had been enough dots, here are some more. I found six little vintage shades just waiting for a bit of glam.

and even more dotty loveliness

Nicola is waiting for yours truly to carve some more blocks. I have a list but cannot seem to get to it at the moment, my teacup always seems to be empty and need refilling. But does all this manly slackness stop Nicola?

Of course not! The kitchen is now full of beautiful white dotted coloured lampshades . . .
